Join us for an inspiring 90 minute documentary! This professional development experience begins with the film Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars. Through the lens of this story, we’ll explore the challenges and triumphs of literacy instruction and the urgent need for evidence-based practices.
Following the film, we'll dive into an overview of the Science of Reading and why it demands changes to how we teach literacy!

This sound bath offers teachers an opportunity to pause, recharge, and recenter through the calming power of sound. Participants will be guided into relaxation while immersed in the tones of crystal singing bowls and the gentle rhythm of the ocean drum. The session is designed to reduce stress, support focus, and create space for renewal. No prior experience is needed. Simply come as you are and allow the healing sounds to support your well-being.  For your comfort, consider bringing a yoga mat, blanket and pillow. Yoga mats will be available, if needed.
