This session invites you to explore news media bias using philosophical tools like the Toulmin Method and a variety of ethical tests. Together, we’ll practice breaking down arguments, spotting bias, and applying ethical reasoning—all with the ultimate goal of fostering respectful, civil discussions, even during times of unrest.
You’ll leave with practical strategies to help students (and yourself!) think critically, engage thoughtfully, and talk about tough issues.
